Inventory and Purchases in the App
The mobile app provides inventory tools designed for floor work: check stock by scanning a product and receive merchandise by scanning supplier invoices.
Inventory Lookup
Check the stock of any product from your tablet or phone.
How to Use
- Open Inventory Lookup from the side menu.
- Scan the barcode of the product with the camera.
- The app displays:
- Product name.
- Available stock by branch.
- Stock by variant (size, color, etc.).
- Current price.
Use Cases
- Floor salesperson: A customer asks if another size is available.
- Receiving merchandise: Verify stock before entering goods.
- Quick audit: Visual count vs. system stock.
Purchase Entry (DGI QR)
Receive merchandise into inventory by scanning the QR code on electronic invoices from your suppliers.
Step-by-Step Flow
The process has 4 steps:
Step 1: Scan
- Open Purchase Entry from the side menu.
- Scan the QR code on the supplier invoice.
- The QR contains DGI fiscal document data.
- You can also scan the document code directly.
Step 2: Loading
- The app retrieves the document data from the DGI.
- Products, quantities, and prices are extracted.
Step 3: Review
- Review the detected products.
- Verify that the quantities are correct.
- Match supplier products with your products in NAOS (if needed).
Step 4: Confirmation
- Press “Confirm Entry”.
- Inventory is updated automatically.
- The purchase is recorded with a reference to the supplier’s document.
